(Mr. Fluffernutter says it was technically a “vibrational wave resonance demonstration,” but I call it Bible-powered BOOM BOOM MAGIC.)
I was hiding under a blanket (for reasons), when Ariel shouted,
“Ready? This will make the sound visible!”
And before I could even find my safety marshmallows,
BOOM! BEAMS! LIGHTS! MUSIC CUPS JUMPING IN PERFECT JESUS RHYTHMS!
Y’all, I’m not even kidding. The soundwaves were ALIVE. They were dancing for God. And maybe also because I dropped a jellybean on the floor and stepped on it.

Okay, okay—get ready to have your brain warmed up like a pancake on a praise-filled skillet, because Ariel just taught me something TOASTY.
She said heat energy is actually molecules doing a silly wiggle party! Like, "WHEEEE!" 🕺💃🔥
(Side note: Mr. Fluffernutter is now writing a bunny musical called “Molecules: The Tap-Dancing Testimony.”)
So here’s what I learned in our Christian STEM adventure for kids:
- Heat can zoom through metal like it’s late for Sunday school. (Warning: do not high-five a hot spoon. 🥄😅)
- It swirls in soup like a pastor stirring chili at the church potluck.
- It can even travel through SPACE, from the sun all the way to Earth! (That’s like the world’s longest God-made microwave beam.)
And here’s the WILD part:

Fluffernutter tried to find one in our backyard by digging a “holy heat tunnel.”

💡 Light Is a Rainbow Unicorn That Bends (and Dances in Jesus' Name!)
Ariel just told me something so bananas, I almost fell off the couch and into a bucket of glitter:
Even faster than me sprinting when I hear someone yell, “ICE CREAM TRUCK!” 🍦💨
In our latest Christian STEM adventure for kids, we learned that light can do three magic tricks that totally blew my bunny ears off:
Reflect • Refract • Absorb
Reflect — bounces off stuff, like when I shine a flashlight at my nose and try to blind Mr. Fluffernutter. (He was not amused.)
Refract — bends through water or glass. We tried water + straw and—POOF!—the straw turned into a curly snake doing gymnastics. 🐍💦
Absorb — darker things “eat” light. My black shirt gets hotter than a marshmallow in microwave church.
So now I have renamed some things for proper sparkle understanding:
- Mirrors = “Truth-Bouncers”
- Flashlights = “Holy Glow-Sticks”
- Lightbulbs = “Glow-Orbs of Clarity” (Mr. Fluffernutter says trademark it.)

Ariel says sound is made from vibrations—like teeny tiny wiggles that zoom through stuff like air, water, or maybe even a fluffy bunny’s belly.

We made a DIY kazoo by stretching wax paper over a toilet paper roll and humming like joyful little foghorns into the open end. The result?
