Hi hi hiiii! It’s me—Alice!
Your official Truth Detective, Emergency Reporter, and Assistant Bunny Wrangler for today’s very silly, super serious story.
Everything started one totally normal Tuesday (or maybe it was a Wednesday shaped like a pancake?) when Mr. Fluffernutter suddenly leapt off the bookshelf, threw on his invisible news tie, and declared—
“📰 This is a NEWS EMERGENCY!”
I gasped so hard, I almost swallowed a crayon. “Oh no,” I whispered, “did we just cause a marshmallow emergency?!”
Our living room instantly turned into Fluffernutter News Network Headquarters—with cereal boxes stacked into cameras, socks that looked very suspicious, and a BIG scribbled sign that said:
“TRUTH HATS ONLY. Fibbers bring snacks.”
🎩 Fluffernutter says news hats make you 26% smarter, especially if they’re made of tinfoil and friendship.
Why the emergency? Because my big sister Ariel—who’s super smart and uses big words like “media literacy” (which I thought meant checking if your TV has a fibbing face)—was doing a GIANT school project about truth, fake news, and how people learn stuff from screens. So Fluffernutter and I decided to help.
Like help help. Like “turn the couch into a news desk and tape a Bible verse to the dog” kind of help.
“What if the TV is secretly watching us?” I asked.
Fluffernutter blinked twice, which obviously means, “That’s classified.”
So now we’re on a special mission—to sniff out truth, spot the sneaky stuff, and make sure nobody believes that marshmallows grow on banana trees. (Unless they do… in which case, we’ll report back.)
Because guess what?
Jesus said, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). That means truth is like God’s flashlight—super shiny, never wrong, and always pointing the right way. Even through tinfoil hats and cookie crumbs.
Are you ready for the report of your life?
Then sit down, buckle up your bunny ears, and join Fluffernutter News Network’s very first SUPER SPECIAL SISTER INVESTIGATION!
Let’s gooooooo!

Ariel says media can make people believe things—even if they’re not true. Like that bunnies can become mayor. (Wait… can they???)

💖 BIG SISTER PRAISE PARADE!

Fluffernutter says he’d vote for you.

BREAKING NEWS!
Democracy is not a kind of dinosaur. (I checked.)
But guess what it does mean?
It means you can ask big questions, share your voice, and—according to Mr. Fluffernutter—trade jellybeans during serious discussions. 🍬🗳️

🗞️ What I Learned in News School (AKA Our Couch)
When my big sister Ariel wrote her amazing, brainy paper all about Christian media literacy and how to find God’s truth in a noisy world, I didn’t understand every word.
But I did understand this:
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:32
So even if the news is confusing, or someone on the internet says marshmallows are vegetables (suspicious!!), we can always stop, pray, and ask:
“Does this feel like God’s kind of truth—the kind that helps people, loves people, and makes the world better?”
Because truth is part of love. And love is part of God.
And Ariel? She wrote a super smart, super sparkly paper that reminded me why we should always ask questions—but also listen.
“Sometimes,” Fluffernutter whispered, “your big sister might actually be right.”
(SHHH! Don’t tell her I said that.)

🐾 With love, laughs, and honest bunny news,
Alice
Junior Truth Detective
(and Mr. Fluffernutter—Official Liberty Bunny™, Certified Cuteness Anchor, and Snack Inspector)
