Whose bag is it? Turn the question into a woodland delivery mission with Fantasticamos Possessive Post: The Lost-and-Found Rescue. These singular possessive nouns worksheets for Grade 2 help children find the owner, build an apostrophe + s label, and check what the sentence means.

Four missions with a clear learning path

Owner Window: identify who owns an item, even when someone else carries it. Tag Workshop: preserve the owner word and add apostrophe + s. Sorting Bridge: compare many boats with one boat’s sail. Delivery Desk: read, edit and write accurate clues.

Exactly what is included

30 unique pages in two matching print editions: one 30-page premium color PDF and one 30-page white-background low-ink PDF. Includes a parent field guide, readiness check, four worked lessons, guided and independent practice, explanation and editing checks, an original short passage, a cooperative 12-card game with route mat, drawing/writing project, six-item review, progress certificate and complete adult answers. The customer ZIP also includes printing instructions and a one-household license. This is 30 unique pages provided twice, not 60 different lessons.

Who this printable is for

Designed for Grade 2 learners who can recognize a noun, tell one from many and read short sentences with support. An adult may read aloud. Character ages are separate from the learning level. Use about 10-15 minutes at a time and revisit a mission when a meaning check needs support.

What does a singular possessive noun show?

It shows that something belongs to one owner. For example, Alice’s cup means the cup that belongs to Alice. Keep Alice, add apostrophe + s, then name the thing. A plural such as two cups counts more than one and needs no apostrophe.
