Elapsed time worksheets for Grade 3 can help children explain what happens between two clock times. Fantasticamos Timekeepers turns that practice into a Skyway Schedule Rescue: count minutes, cross the hour, find missing times, and check a simple route.
Try the six-page free sample before choosing the full pack. It includes the cover, parent guide, crossing-the-hour lesson, guided practice, six rescue cards, and selected answers. Download the free six-page sample PDF.
What is included?
32 unique pages, supplied as a 32-page color PDF and a matching 32-page white-background low-ink PDF. Both follow the same sequence, with the same numbered tasks and answers. The page count includes the cover, adult guidance, tools, story route, learning pages, progress record, certificate, and four answer-guide pages. It is 32 unique pages in two editions, not 64 different lessons.
Four missions each include a worked example, guided practice, independent practice, and an explanation or error-check page. There are 48 numbered tasks, discussion checks, and project prompts across the pack. Reusable clock and timeline tools, a six-card rescue relay, a schedule-design project, and a four-question final review make the practice varied.
What will my child practice?
Garden Gate: count five-minute spaces within an hour. Cloud Crossing: break a trip at the next hour and include full-hour hops. Hidden Platform: move forward for a finish or backward for a start, then check. Noon Observatory: combine travel and walking, find waiting time, and use a.m./p.m. when a trip crosses noon.
Who is it for?
Suggested Grade 3, or another learner ready for this specific skill. Before starting, a child should count by fives to 60, add/subtract within 120, and read analog and digital clocks to five-minute intervals. The readiness page helps you identify a starting point. Ariel and Alice are story characters; their ages do not define the target grade.
How do we use it at home?
Print the edition you prefer on US Letter paper at Actual Size/100%. Start with the grown-up guide and readiness check. Try a teaching page and a practice page in a flexible 10–20 minute session. Read the directions aloud when useful and ask the learner to label each hop. Keep the answer guide with the adult during independent practice.
Pencil and scrap paper are enough. Card cutting is optional and handled by an adult. No app, membership, color printer, laminator, dice, or timer is required. Low-ink pages use white backgrounds, black text and restrained outlines; the illustrated cover and story route use clean black-and-white line art instead.
What does this pack leave out?
This is a focused printable supplement for same-day elapsed time in five-minute steps, with intervals up to two hours. It is not a complete math curriculum or full coverage of telling time to the nearest minute. Overnight calculations, time zones, and 24-hour notation are not included.
Buyer questions
Are answers included? Yes. All numbered tasks have exact answers or checking criteria, including a sample schedule and alternatives for open responses.
Does my child need to read a clock first? Yes, to five-minute intervals. A clock tool and readiness check are included, but this pack does not teach every beginning clock-reading skill. For an exact-hour introduction, explore the free Fantasticamos Clock Quest on Blogging4Adventure.com.
Can I print only some pages? Yes. Use either edition and choose the pages that match your learner. Tools and cards work best single-sided.
Can I use it with a class or co-op? The included license is for one household. Contact Blogging4Adventure before broader copying or distribution.
Will a book be mailed? No. This is a digital ZIP containing the two PDFs and customer printing/license instructions. Store download access follows the checkout and order instructions shown on this site.
Are the PDFs fillable? No. They are designed to print and write on by hand.
Can I see the style first? Yes. The labeled six-page public sample provides an actual lesson, practice, cards and selected answers; it is a preview of the full pack.
