What is inside Twinleaf Trails?
30 unique pages, provided in two matching editions: one 30-page premium color PDF and one 30-page white-background low-ink PDF. The count includes cover, adult guidance, teaching, practice, tools, review, project, progress page and five answer/support pages. It is not 60 unique lessons.
Your customer ZIP contains only the two PDFs, a printing/start-here file and the one-household license. It includes a readiness check, four worked-example lessons, guided and independent activities, evidence and mistake checks, a Venn diagram, a 12-card comparison game with reusable recording mat, a real-object project, progress passport/certificate and complete answers.
Four missions: notice, organize, explain
Basket Gate: Compare object features and sort A only, Both and B only.
Helper Hollow: Use actions from original short stories to compare characters.
Two-Text Grove: Find a shared topic and important points in paired texts. Learn why a detail not mentioned is not automatically false.
Design Bridge: Write both/but comparisons and choose a plan using the stated needs and evidence.

Who is it for, and how do we use it?
Designed as a focused Grade 2 homeschool supplement. Learners should understand same/different and be ready to read or listen to short sentences. An adult may read aloud, model the first comparison or record dictated answers. Character reference ages are part of the artwork and do not set the target grade.
Start with the adult field guide and readiness check. Move through one mission across several flexible sittings, using the prompt “Which detail proves that?” Keep the answer guide with the adult. Use the suggested review/project checks to decide what to revisit; no timed practice is required.

Printing and household use
Print US Letter portrait at Actual Size / 100%. Choose color or low-ink; the learning content and order are identical. Print one test page first. Use single-sided printing for the optional cut-apart cards, with an adult handling scissors. Sort game cards on a table and record their IDs on the mat. A pencil and two safe everyday objects are enough for the project. No account, app or subscription is needed for the printed activities.

Questions parents ask
Are the answers included?
Yes. Pages 26-30 include answers, acceptable wording, project criteria and adult next-step prompts.
Does low-ink mean a dark grayscale copy?
No. The low-ink edition has white backgrounds, black outlines and matching outline character art. It keeps the same text, IDs, activities and page order.
Is this a full language arts curriculum?
No. It focuses on comparison skills. It does not teach phonics, formal essays or different cultural versions of the same story.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. The linked six-page sample includes a parent guide, seed-box sort, trail-bag Venn, sentence lesson, low-ink game cards and answer/use guidance.
May I use it for several children?
The purchasing household may print and reuse it with its own learners. Classroom, co-op, tutoring-business and multi-household use require separate permission. Please do not share the full files.
Will a physical workbook arrive?
No. This is a digital PDF download supplied in a ZIP. Save and extract the ZIP, then open the PDFs in a PDF reader.
