Hi friends! 🥳 I just turned 9 years old—and I discovered something so wild and wonderful that I had to share it with you: Pi! 🥧 Not the kind you eat (though we totally had pie too), but the endless number that circles use to measure themselves. Isn’t that amazing?
Colorful streamers crinkled like confetti snakes across our living room. A chocolate pie with whipped cream spirals sat beside my journal, and I felt like each candle I blew out whispered a secret math fact into the air. That’s when it hit me—turning 9 on Pi Day isn’t just fun, it’s full of God’s design. The kind that’s hidden in every swirl, every circle, every curious question we ask.
“Have you ever wondered,” I asked my little sister, “how a number can go on forever without repeating?” She stared at her plate and said, “I think Mr. Fluffernutter ate an infinite pie…” 😂

That’s right—Pi lives in every single circle, no matter the size. It’s one of the coolest pi facts for kids because it shows how math connects shapes all around us.

Pi helps them calculate circles in space—like planet orbits and satellite paths. It’s the math behind the mission!
That means God’s creation is so orderly, even space math has a plan.

Every time you cut into a circular pizza, guess who’s there? Pi! The formula π × r² helps us find the area of the pizza to know how many slices we’ll need. That’s delicious math in action.
Let’s say your pizza is 12 inches across. The radius (half of that) is 6. Using Pi:
Area = π × 6² = π × 36 ≈ 113 square inches
If one guest eats 14 square inches… about 8 people can share that pizza!

Guess what? That’s my birthday too! 🤓 So we’re basically all in the genius club now. (Fluffernutter says he’s the president.)
