These division worksheets for Grade 3 help learners see what division means: find an equal share, make groups of a known size, read arrays, and multiply to check. Fantasticamos Division Harbor turns those skills into a moonboat supply rescue with Ariel, Alice and Mr. Fluffernutter.
Try the free six-page sample: download the sample PDF. It includes the cover, parent guidance, a worked example, guided sharing practice, the reusable mat and an answer-guide excerpt. Original nonconsecutive page numbers are retained.
What is included?
32 unique pages, provided twice: one 32-page premium color PDF and one matching 32-page white-background low-ink PDF. The two editions have the same activities, IDs, page sequence and answers. This is 32 unique pages, not 64 different lessons.
Includes parent guidance, readiness check, four illustrated mission introductions, four visual worked lessons, guided and independent practice, explanation/error checks, a reusable cargo mat, six dispatch game cards, a supply-design challenge, a four-question final review, progress/certificate page, and three pages of answers and printing/license guidance.
Four missions, one clear learning progression
Lantern Dock: share a total among a known number of boats. Supply Shed: pack a known number into each crate and find how many crates. Array Pier: use equal rows to model division. Lighthouse Check: rebuild the total with multiplication and related facts.
Who is this for?
Suggested for Grade 3 learners who can count to 60, make equal groups and use repeated addition. An adult may read directions aloud. Fact recall helps but is not required. Core tasks use totals up to 60 and divisors 2-6; related fact families also reverse factors. This focused supplement does not cover remainders, long division, decimals, division by zero or complete division-fact fluency.
How do we use it?
Gather a pencil and up to 60 counters. Start with the readiness page, then try a lesson and its guided practice. Ask what is known and what the answer counts. Learners draw models, write equations and check their thinking. Adult answer guidance gives correct answers and criteria for open tasks; suggested checkpoints are teaching guidance, not standardized scores.
Printing and permission
Print on US Letter in portrait orientation at Actual Size / 100%. Choose either edition; you do not need to print both. Standard PDF reader and ZIP extraction required. Optional game-card cutting is for an adult. One purchasing household may print for its own children. Classroom/co-op use, resale, redistribution and posting the paid files are excluded. This is a digital download; nothing is shipped.
Frequently asked questions
Are the answers included? Yes. Exact answers, model expectations and open-response criteria are inside both PDFs.
Is the full product free? No. The six-page sample is free; the complete two-edition pack is the paid offer.
Can I use counters instead of drawing? Yes while learning. For the final review, have the learner record a matching model or check as directed.
Is this a complete curriculum? No. It is a focused introduction and practice supplement for exact whole-number division.
Does the low-ink version lose information? No. It keeps the same content and mathematical geometry, with white backgrounds, black outlines and matching story line art.
Can I print for a co-op? The included license is for one household; it does not cover a class or co-op.
What files will I receive? A ZIP with both 32-page PDFs, a customer start-here/printing README and household license.
