By Mr. Fluffernutter
( I’m sorry not totally finished but I just had a seizure and won’t be able to work anymore today 8/10)
(Experienced another seizure this morning 8/11, so homeschool day will be boring for the girls. Thanks Alabama, cannabis was doing so well for me, but you took it away and called me a criminal. Now I get to go back to this life, laying in bed useless for days of recovery.)
A crumpled envelope lay on the breakfast table, sealed with a sticker shaped like a carrot. Ariel tilted her head, suspicious.
“Who leaves carrots on mail?” she asked.
From behind a cereal box, Mr. Fluffernutter hopped into view, whiskers twitching like antennae.
“This,” he said in his most dramatic bunny voice, “is a mission letter from the Council of Quick Fingers. They need you to help type the Kindness Letters before bedtime!”
Alice gasped. “But what if we type too slowly? The kindness might get… late!”
Fluffernutter’s ears wiggled. “Exactly. That’s why today, we train. And we start with the Warm-Up Zone…”

🧠 Warm-Up Zone
“Every hero stretches before battle,” Fluffernutter declared. “Even typing heroes.”
Your Mission: Shake, stretch, and get those fingers ready, then run the 30-second timer.
🧠 Warm-Up Zone (30 seconds)
Finger Stretch Sequence
- Shake wrists gently, count 5.
- Touch each fingertip to thumb (L/R), count 10.
- Open/close hands like jellyfish, count 10.
- Sit tall, feet flat, eyes to screen not keys.

⌨️ Home-Row Drill
After stretching, Ariel wiggled her fingers above the keyboard. “It’s like piano keys but with more homework energy,” she said.
Fluffernutter hopped onto the desk. “The home row is your base camp. Learn it well, and you’ll conquer every typing mountain.”
Your Mission: Choose “Easy” or “Hard,” then type the patterns exactly and press Enter. Try to score at least 90% accuracy to earn a badge later.

🐇 The Typing Simulator
The Council’s first kindness letter appeared magically on-screen. The letters shimmered, waiting to be typed. Ariel’s eyes narrowed in focus.
“Verse Mode,” Fluffernutter whispered, “pulls words straight from the Good Book. Story Mode is for silly bunny-approved lines.”
Alice raised her hand. “Can we do both?”
“You can,” he replied, “but beware of the Hard setting—it bites.”
Your Mission: Pick a mode and difficulty, check “No-peeking” if you dare, then press Start. Type what you see, press Enter, and see your speed and accuracy. Try to beat your personal best and get your name on the leaderboard.

🖨 Print Your Progress
“You can’t hang a leaderboard on the fridge,” Alice pointed out.
“No,” said Fluffernutter, “but you can print your own tracker.”
He handed Ariel a page. “Write the date, your WPM, your accuracy, and a note to Future You. Trust me—Future You will love it.”
Your Mission: Print your tracker and post it somewhere you’ll see it often.
