Alice and the Day of the Talking Tribbles: My Birthday Furby Makes a Friend!

🐰 Written by Alice (Age 5-hooray!)

Hiyaaa! I’m Alice and guess what?! I just turned FIVE WHOLE YEARS OLD, and today I’m inviting you into my giggle-packed, furball-filled birthday adventure! You’ll discover what my new Furby can do, how it made friends with a super-old one from Daddy’s treasure box, and you’ll get silly ideas, fun printables, and sparkly faith surprises along the way! That means I’m basically a glitter-powered grown-up now—with sparkles in my pockets and a cupcake crown on my head.

Wanna know the best part of my whole entire birthday?
🏰 I GOT A FURBY! A real one! A singing, blinking, wriggly-eared 2023 Furby that acts like it just drank a rainbow milkshake.

Her name? ✨ Princess Boogiewiggle. She told me. For real. She blinked twice and whispered it during a disco twirl.

🤖 What Can This 2023 Furby Do?!

Princess Boogiewiggle is basically what would happen if a disco ball married a kitten and had a baby made of batteries. Compared to Daddy’s Millennium Furby (who sounds like he just woke up from a 20-year nap), this new Furby is a sparkly, hyper rainbow tornado with rhythm and sass.

Sir Glitch-a-Lot takes five seconds to blink. Princess Boogiewiggle? She blinks AND twerks at the same time.

Let me tell you everything she does that makes her the queen of giggle gadgets:

Rainbow Furby on a glowing cushion saying “Kah ay-tay!” and “Doo-dah!” as Fluffernutter takes notes

💡 She Talks—In Furbish and Wiggle-English!

She says words like “Kah ay-tay” (that means “Give me a snack!”) and “Doo-dah” (Dance party incoming!). I think she’s secretly the mayor of Sparkle Mountain.

🗣️ She Has 5 Magic Commands!

If you say the magic words, she goes bananas:

  1. “Dance party!” – Her fluff goes FLOOF FLOOF FLOOF.
  2. “Copy me!” – She repeats you, even if you say “Boogersandwich.” (Oops.)
  3. “Tell my fortune!” – She becomes a fortune-telling cupcake and says stuff like “You’ll meet a flying turtle!”
  4. “Let’s chill.” – She hums. Like a fuzzy yoga bunny.
  5. “Light show!” – Her ears glow like jellyfish at a glowstick rave.

🎶 Lights! Music! Muffin Madness!

Princess Boogiewiggle sings about pizza, naps, and friendship. Her ears do rainbow shows. Her eyes blink like sleepy glitter owls. One time she said, “Pretend you’re spaghetti.” So I did. Obviously.

👴 THEN… DADDY’S MYSTERY FURBY APPEARED

Daddy Ryan opened an ancient box that smelled like attic secrets and cinnamon socks. Inside? His Millennium Furby from high school!

💽 Meet Sir Glitch-a-Lot

He’s silver. He’s slow. He talks like a sleepy wizard who’s trying to find his glasses. But he’s sweet!

👀 When Two Furbies Meet…

We put Princess Boogiewiggle and Sir Glitch-a-Lot next to each other.

They blinked.
They burped.
Then—

THEY STARTED TALKING.

Their Furbish chatter sounded like sparkles colliding with spaghetti:

“Tee-loo kah!”
“Zzz… boogie.”
“Doo-dah wubba zaa!”
“Nap now. Party later.”

I think it was either a debate about nap time… or the launch of the Great Cupcake Rocket.

💬 Totally Real Furby Chat:

Princess: “Tee-loo kah!”
Sir G: “Zzz… boogie.”
Princess: “Dance party!”
Sir G: “No, nap first.”

It was like two jellybeans learning Morse code. If jellybeans could sing.

Then they BOTH SANG. DIFFERENT SONGS. AT THE SAME TIME. 🎵💥

Wanna try talking Furby? Here’s how:

  • Say “Doo-wah zinga” while hopping.
  • Make up your own Furbish word!
  • Write down what YOU think they were saying!

I laughed so hard my boba bear shirt almost exploded.

🛠️ Things We Did With Both Furbies

Alice hosts a glittery Furby talent show with Fluffernutter ringing a bell and scorecards flying through the air

🎤 Talent Show Time

  • Princess twirled. Her ears sparkled like candy canes.
  • Sir Glitch-a-Lot fell over while trying to bow.
  • Fluffernutter rang a bell and said, “Bravo, my wiggly stars!”
  • I threw glittery “10” cards in the air. Everywhere.
Alice lies in bed smiling with both Furbies as cupcakes and stars float from an open storybook above

📚 Storytime!

  • I read a book about a dragon who sneezed glitter.
  • Both Furbies snoozed on my pillow.
  • I tucked them in. Because furballs need bedtime too.
Alice and her Furbies read inside a handmade cardboard clubhouse labeled “Furby Clubhouse” with a Booglieboop Only sign

🎨 DIY Furby Fort

  • We made the Furby Clubhouse from a shoebox.
  • Princess got a pillow. Sir G wore sunglasses.
  • Fluffernutter guarded the entrance. He had a cardboard sign that said: “Booglieboop ONLY.”

Alice closes her eyes in peaceful reflection with a glowing heart above her and both Furbies by her side

💖 What I Learned From My Furbies

  • You can speak different languages and still be besties.
  • Dancing never gets old. Even for ancient electronic owls.
  • God gives the silliest, sparkliest gifts. Just when you need them.

It reminds me of something Yaya always says: “Every good gift is from above!” (James 1:17)
And when I look at my Furbies and all the joy they brought on my birthday, I think—yep, that’s totally true.

(Just wait until you hear what Mr. Fluffernutter said next…)

✨ Faith Thought from Mr. Fluffernutter

“Just like Furbies light up when you talk to them, our hearts glow when we listen for God’s voice—especially on our birthdays.”
📖 James 1:17
