Hi, friends! It’s me, Alice!
Guess what? Today was a super-duper H day, and that means it was all about hope, hugs, hopping, hands, and heroes (like me)! Mr. Fluffernutter and I had the happiest homeschool day ever and I can’t wait to tell you about it! 💖🐰✨

🏃‍♀️ Hopping and Hooray!

We started the day hopping like silly kangaroo-heroes on our trampoline! My hair flew up like I was flying! Fluffernutter says jumping makes your hope bounce higher—I think that’s true!

⛅️ Hourly Weather & House Hazards!

Next, we checked out the hourly weather for Rainsville, Alabama. It was cloudy but cozy. Then I saw something on the screen—a story about a house in Texas that got hit by lightning! WHOA! It was kind of scary, but Mommy said that’s why we hope and pray for others, especially when storms come.
So I said a little Fluffernutter prayer: “Dear God, please help the people in Texas and give them a hero to help fix the house. Amen.”

📖 Hebrews and Hugs

After that, we read our memory verse—it was Hebrews 11:1 and it says:

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

I pointed to it on the screen and said, “Hey! H is for Hebrews and for hope!”

🌡️ ABC and H-Hero Practice

I played with my ABC learning board under my art table. When I pressed the letter H, it said “H is for hat!” and I said, “H is also for hugging Fluffernutter and hopping on trampolines and… and… hamburger helpers!” 😄

Then I got to do a tracing worksheet for the letter H. I colored the hero, the heart, and the hopping bunny (that one was for Fluffernutter). My favorite part was tracing the big H and little h with my pencil. Mommy said I did an honorable job!

🎲 Hilarious Minecraft Heroes

Guess what else we did? We played a WHOLE game of our Minecraft board game! I got to be the helper who found treasure and fought mobs with a pickaxe! Ariel almost won—but I beat her by one emerald block! Heehee! 😄

Illustration of a young girl with light brown wavy hair watching “Harold and the Purple Crayon” on TV, holding a jumbo purple crayon, with a white bunny beside her drawing with a crayon too, surrounded by colorful doodles and the word “HOPE.”

📚 Harold and the Hopeful Crayon

Then we snuggled and read Harold and the Purple Crayon together. I love how Harold draws his own adventures. I asked, “Mommy, can I draw my own H adventure?” and she said, “Yes!” So maybe next time you’ll see my Harold and the Hope Crayon story!

🎨 Happy Painting with Ariel

To end our super day, Ariel and I painted hopeful ocean pictures together! Mine had seaweed, a treasure chest, and sparkles that Fluffernutter said were mermaid prayers. Ariel’s had a sky full of blue balloons. Mommy said it looked like hope floating up to Heaven.

✝️ Hugs, Hope, and a Heavenly Goodbye

So now I know…
h is for hope
h is for heroes
h is for Hebrews
h is for happiness with my family

And Mr. Fluffernutter says, “H is for hugging your bunny tight and believing big, even when the skies are cloudy.” ☁️🐰💕

Love, Alice 💕
