Hi! I’m Alice and this was my very special Letter I Day! It stands for Imagination, Ice Cream, and I Am Wonderfully Made! 🍦🦎🌈

Colorful cartoon-style illustration for children's blog section “Spider Watch Before We Leave,” showing a young girl in a red shirt crouched near a shoe shelf with two friendly spiders—Sir Webbles in a wizard hat and Zippy Legs McGee in a racing helmet—above colorful sneakers, with sparkles and a playful tone.

🛠️ Spider Watch Before We Leave!

When I went to get my shoes, I saw TWO spiders hiding near the shelves! One looked like he was wearing a tiny wizard hat, so I called him Sir Webbles. The other zipped across the wall so fast, I named her Zippy Legs McGee! Daddy said they were probably guarding the laces. One looked like a tiny wizard with eight legs, and the other had a stripe that made him look like a racing bug! I looked at them very closely and whispered, “Hi little skitter-bugs!” before we left. I think one waved back with its leg!

🌿 Off to the Pond!

We packed our snacks, our blanket, and loaded up into my pink Jeep. Mr. Fluffernutter and Mrs. Fluffernutter (she’s gray and very shy) came with us. When we got there, we laid out the blanket near the pond and Daddy read the Bible verse:

“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:14

Then we said a prayer together while the birds chirped and the frogs sang.

🐸 Meet My Baby Frog Friend

While Daddy prayed, I peeked near the moss and found a teeny tiny frog! He was brown and bumpy and hopped just a little. I named him Sir Iggy and let him crawl on my hand. I think he liked me because he didn’t jump away.

🥕 Snack Time with the Fluffernutters

Mr. Fluffernutter got a yummy carrot to munch and declared, “At last! The royal feast I’ve waited all morning for!” He said in his most serious voice, “This carrot has been blessed by the Bunny King himself!” Mrs. Fluffernutter just sniffed it politely. We had snacks and juice while I told Sir Iggy about how God made us all different and special—even little froggies!

Cartoon-style illustration of a cheerful girl in a red unicorn shirt and pink pants standing proudly in front of a broken washing machine, holding a soggy shirt, with bubbles, animated socks, and a bunny in a cape holding a carrot; themed for a playful children's blog post titled “Washing Machine Woes.”

🚿 Washing Machine Woes!

When we got home, the washing machine broke! OH NO! So Daddy and I took out the wet clothes and cleaned everything. I helped with the dark shirts and made up a game called “Laundry Rescue Team Alpha!” We had to work hard and it smelled like wet socks, but we fixed it together like laundry superheroes on a secret mission.

Cartoon-style illustration of a young girl in a red shirt and pink pants lifting a rolled-up mat under a tree to discover a group of smiling worms, including one with a top hat labeled "Wiggles the Third," in a playful, dirt-filled setting with sparkles and grass.

🌳 Mat-Roll Worm Discovery

Later, we rolled up the big old mat under our favorite tree and guess what? SO MANY WORMS! Long ones, fat ones, wriggly ones! I touched one and said, “Your name is Wiggles the Third.” He was a fancy worm.

Cartoon-style illustration of a young girl in a red shirt and pink pants tracing and coloring the letter I at a table with a sparkly purple pencil, surrounded by creative doodles including an iguana, rainbow ice cream, a volcano island, and a flying cookie, in a joyful homeschool setting.

🖍️ I Tracing & Coloring Fun

I worked on my special Letter I tracing sheet with my sparkly purple pencil. I tried making the dot on the lowercase ‘i’ look like a star at first, but then it turned into a flying cookie by accident! Daddy and I laughed so hard I almost dropped my pencil. I wrote “I i I i” over and over until my hand needed a break. I colored the iguana green and purple, gave the island a tiny volcano, and made the ice cream rainbow swirly! Daddy said I did amazing, so I taped it to the fridge.

Whimsical cartoon-style illustration of a white bunny named Mr. Fluffernutter wearing explorer goggles and a red cape, riding a green velociraptor named Isabel through a jungle with carrots and stars, shouting “To the carrot cave before sunset!” with a speech bubble nearby saying “If I had a pet raptor, I’d feed her chicken nuggets!”

🎥 Velociraptor Time!

We ended the day watching Jurassic Park, and I imagined Mr. Fluffernutter putting on tiny explorer goggles and riding a velociraptor through the jungle shouting, “Faster, Isabel! We must find the carrot cave before sunset!” The velociraptors were SO scary and cool! I said, “If I had one as a pet, I’d name her Isabel and feed her chicken nuggets.” Mr. Fluffernutter said he would ride on her back and yell, “To the jungle, noble lizard steed!”

🌟 The Best I Day Ever!

Today was FULL of imagination, insects, ice cream, iguanas (okay not real ones), and incredible fun. Thank You God for making me ME!
