Hello, friends!

Do you know what the very greatest, giggliest, goat-iest letter is? IT’S THE LETTER G! Today, Fluffernutter and I had a whole day just for the letter G, and it was bursting with giggles, glitter, games, and GRACE. We even had a special guest at home—my big sister Ariel! She didn’t feel her best, so she stayed home in her green jacket, but that meant I got to share my G-Day fun with her too. Yippee!

Two young girls sit at a table playing a colorful Candy Land-inspired board game, seen from behind—one in a green jacket and the other in a lavender shirt with bows—while a white stuffed bunny referee holds a “Be Kind!” sign. A plate of toast with grape jelly shaped like a “G” and a Bible verse on the board, “Love is kind – 1 Corinthians 13:4,” complete the cozy, faith-friendly scene.

🎲 CandyLand and Caring Hearts

(P.S. Maybe next time, Ariel will feel better and we can add a new G-word for giggling together!)

Right after breakfast (I had toast with grape jelly shaped like a G!), Ariel and I played CandyLand together. She picked the ice cream girl, and I picked the blue guy who looks like a gumdrop! Ariel wasn’t feeling super smiley, but we played anyway and Fluffernutter was the official CandyLand coach. He said the best move is always the one with kindness, so I let Ariel go first every time. That made her smile a tiny bit. And guess what? SHE WON!

Mr. Fluffernutter said that’s called graciousness—when you do something kind just because it’s lovely. That’s another G word!

Young girl in a lavender shirt with bows joyfully dances in front of a glowing screen showing a woman forming the letter G with her arms, while a friendly giraffe watches under a starry sky; a white bunny gives a thumbs-up near a plate of G-shaped toast, with the words “God’s beat is in our hearts” and “Love is kind – 1 Corinthians 13:4” adding faith-filled warmth to the whimsical scene.

📖 Giraffes, God, and Groovin’ Around

Later, we read Giraffes Can’t Dance! Gerald the giraffe is wobbly and shy until he hears his music in the moonlight. I said, “Gerald just needed God’s beat in his heart!” Then I twirled and danced all around the room in my giraffe pose. My knees did wiggly jumps and my elbows flopped like jellyfish.

I asked Fluffernutter if he could dance. He said, “Only when no one’s looking.” Then he winked. Bunnies are mysterious like that.

Then we watched a video all about the letter G (I think it was from a lady named Miss G!). There was a girl in a blue dress with glasses, and she made a big G with her arms! I tried to do it too but mine looked like a backward 6. Still, Fluffernutter gave me a round of applause. His claps sound like tiny whispers.

Young girl with light brown hair and a lavender bow shirt colors a joyful letter G worksheet at a table, surrounded by crayons, glitter stars, a tracing sheet, and a plate with G-shaped jelly toast, while her white bunny holds a gold star that says “G-Learner Extraordinaire,” and her older sister in a green jacket gives a thumbs-up in this warm, faith-friendly learning scene.

✏️ God’s Glorious G Practice

Next came my FAVORITE part—the coloring and tracing!

We printed a beautiful coloring page all about the letter G. It had a goat, a giraffe, a gift box, a garden, and even a globe! I colored the grapes sparkly purple and gave the goat rainbow fur. Fluffernutter said it looked like a party goat from a parade in heaven. Then I practiced tracing the big G and little g using the sheet you gave us (you can get your own from our blog if you want to try!). I followed the arrows and made the best G’s of my life.

Mommy said my pencil grip was “getting really good,” and Ariel said I should get a gold star. So Fluffernutter made me one out of a sticker and glitter glue. It says: G-Learner Extraordinaire!

Young girl in a lavender shirt with bows makes a silly “Grumpy Goat Face” while slurping Cup Noodles shaped like the letter G, seated beside her white bunny with folded paws in prayer; her older sister in a green jacket smiles warmly nearby, as a plate of grapes and a golden star reading “G-Learner Extraordinaire” add charm to the cozy kitchen scene under the floating prayer: “Dear God, thank you for giggles, grapes, and giving us each other.”

🍜 Giggly Noodles for Grumbly Tummies

For lunch, Mommy said it was a “simple” day, so we had Cup Noodles. OH. MY. GOODNESS. I slurped noodles faster than a garden snail on a water slide. I even made a G with my noodle before I ate it. Then I showed Mommy my best “Grumpy Goat Face” while I gobbled. Ariel laughed and laughed, even though her throat was sore.

Fluffernutter said noodle soup counts as a G meal if you’re grateful for it. So we said a lunchtime prayer:

“Dear God, thank you for giggles, grapes, and giving us each other.”

Two young girls sit at a wooden table in a cozy garage art studio, one wearing a lavender bow shirt painting a green and pink glitter heart titled “Gumdrops in the Garden,” and the other in a green jacket holding up a starry canvas; their white bunny holds a mini sideways G painting as glitter paints, wooden flowers, and sparkles fill the scene beneath the title “Glitter Lab and Garden Paints.”xz

🎨 Glitter Lab and Garden Paints

Later in the day, we went to the garage and turned it into our “Giggle Lab.” That means ART TIME! We painted wooden hearts and buttons and flower shapes with glitter paints and dot brushes. I mixed green and pink and made something I call “Gumdrops in the Garden.”

Fluffernutter made a design that looked like a sideways G with stars. I think he was trying to tell me a secret.

Ariel joined us even though she was tired. She painted a little pot with soft purple and teal. It looked like a galaxy growing flowers! I told her it was glorious.

Young girl in a lavender bow shirt joyfully dances in front of a TV displaying smiling Numberblocks 1 to 10 and a woman making the letter G with her arms, while her older sister in a green jacket claps nearby and a white bunny holds a sign that says “G-g-great job!” in this colorful, faith-friendly learning scene.

📺 Number Fun and Letter Laughs

To wrap up our learning, we watched some Numberblocks and counted up to TEN! I said the numbers before they showed up, and Fluffernutter whispered “G-g-great job!” every time.

We also watched more G videos. I danced every time I heard the letter G song. Ariel clapped. I think her heart was smiling even if her throat wasn’t.

Young girl in a lavender bow shirt sits cross-legged on a golden rug beside her white bunny, Fluffernutter, surrounded by glowing thought bubbles labeled “God,” “Grace,” “Gratitude,” and “Goats,” with each bubble showing a giraffe near a galaxy, a cuddle with her sister, a glittery gratitude jar, and a joyful jumping goat in this dreamy, faith-filled illustration titled “What Did I Learn Today?”

✨ What Did I Learn Today?

  • G is for God, who made giraffes and galaxies.
  • G is for Grace, when Ariel let me sit on her lap during storytime.
  • G is for Gratitude, because today was full of tiny happy things.
  • G is for Goats. Because goats are hilarious.

Young girl in a lavender bow shirt kneels in prayer beside her white bunny on a golden rug, surrounded by nibbling goats, blooming flowers, a crayon drawing of the letter G, and letters labeled “To Fluffernutter,” while glowing text above reads, “Dear God, thank you for a day of G…” in this warm, faith-filled illustration.

💌 Closing Prayer from Alice & Fluffernutter:

“Dear God, thank you for a day of G. Thank you for goats that nibble, gardens that grow, and girls like me who giggle and learn. Help Ariel feel better soon. Amen.”
