STOP RIGHT THERE, fellow jellybean warriors! You have officially entered the Bunny Brigade Battle Base—also known as our squishy blue couch. 🛋️ Last night was not just Bible time—it was a full-on armor-up, giggle-blast, snack-crunching mission to discover how to STAND FIRM for Jesus without falling into the land of Wobbly Waffles! 🍩⚔️
Yaya opened her ginormous Bible (which smells like peppermint and paper hugs), and the whole room filled up with invisible sparkles—poof!—because the verse she read said God CHOOSES us. Like… on purpose. Like how I pick the shiniest spoon for my pudding. Or how Fluffernutter picked me to be Captain of the Bunny Knights of Truth! 🐇👑
So I stood up (on the couch, oops), yelled, “STANDING STRONG FOR JESUS!” and almost bonked my head on the ceiling fan (battle danger level: HIGH). Ariel gave me her big-sister-eyebrows-of-wisdom and whispered, “Maybe just… sit and listen?” But I couldn’t! Because inside my belly was a whole ROCKET OF JOY. I mean, come on—God circled my name with heavenly glitter and said, “That silly little one? YES. She’s MINE.”
Fluffernutter saluted. I tripped over Bash. Someone dropped a cracker. It was perfect. ✨
So now—drumroll made of pudding cups—I declare this blog post officially open for Operation: STAND LIKE A CHOSEN CHILD OF GOD! No slipping. No doubting. Just silly socks, squishy knees, and hearts ready to rumble with LOVE.
Are you in?

🥇God’s Choice: You Are Totally, Definitely, Completely Chosen!
Guess what?! Paul told the Thessalonians something super-duper important—that they were chosen by God for His rescue plan! Not like, “eenie-meenie” chosen, but like circled-in-heaven’s-sparkly-planner chosen. Even when everything around them felt wobbly, Paul reminded them that they belonged to God’s team—like being picked first in a divine dodgeball game where Jesus is the coach and the prize is forever love! 🏆💖
“God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.” —2 Thessalonians 2:13
Yaya leaned in with her “listen up, jellybean” voice and whispered, “That verse means God picked you on purpose. He saw your heart, even before it was born, and said, ‘Yep. That one. Mine.’”
Ariel made her thinking face (which usually means a BIG question is coming). She said, “Wait, so… God chose us to be saved, but we still have to believe in Jesus?” Ding ding ding! 🎉
Daddy said it’s like the best teamwork ever. God chooses us, and then we say yes!—like joining the world’s kindest superhero squad. God leads, we follow, and together, we save the day (but mostly our souls).
Yaya said sanctification is when the Holy Spirit works inside us, polishing our hearts like sparkly stones. “It’s not about being perfect,” she said, sipping her tea like a wise owl in a cardigan. “It’s about growing more like Jesus, one kind word and silly mistake at a time.”
Ariel nodded. “So… it’s like God helps us grow stronger and kinder every day?”
YUP! Like God’s hands are gardening inside us—gently pulling weeds, watering truth, and cheering when we bloom. 🌱💫
🧠 Wonder Questions for Bunny Brigade Thinkers:
What’s one way you’ve grown kinder or stronger because of Jesus?
Can you imagine God choosing you before you were even born? What do you think He saw in you?
How does it feel knowing you’re part of God’s special team?

🪁Hold Tight to the Truth (Like a Jellybean in a Windstorm!)
Okay, so Paul—who I think might’ve been the original captain of the Faith Ship—told the Thessalonians to “stand fast” and hold on tight to the truth they’d already learned. Which made me picture them as a bunch of holy pirates gripping the ropes of a Jesus-ship during a glitter tornado! ⛵💨✨
Yaya said it’s kind of like an anchor—you know, those giant clunky metal thingies you toss in the water to stop your boat from floating away to Dolphinland. The truth of the Gospel is just like that. It holds our hearts still, even when the waves of worry try to turn us into seasick jellyfish.
“Stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught…” —2 Thessalonians 2:15
Ariel, who’s always thinking extra-deep, said, “It’s like when we hold hands on windy days so we don’t fly away like kites!” 🎈
OH. MY. GIGGLES. I LOVED THAT. So now I call the Bible my “wind-proof hand-holder.” Because whenever I feel swirly or unsure or like the world is shouting too many loud not-true things, I remember what God says—and WHOOSH!—my heart feels tied down to something safe and real.
Daddy said that sometimes the world wants us to let go of our faith. It tries to throw confetti lies at us and hope we forget the truth. But if we read God’s Word and pray with super-sparkly courage, it sinks deeper into our hearts than a spoon into pudding. And that, friends, is DELICIOUS truth. 🍮📖
💬 Questions from Alice’s Teacup of Truth:
Who do you hold onto when the “wind” of the world tries to push you around?
What helps you feel anchored when life feels confusing or stormy?
Can you think of a Bible verse that helps hold your heart steady?

💖 God’s Grace Is the Best Squishy Hug Ever
Okay, okay—pause your snack and listen to this magical truth! Did you know that God’s grace is like a forever-hug that never lets go, even if your socks fall down or your cereal goes soggy? 🍓🥣💫
Yaya said grace is God’s way of whispering, “I’ve got you,” even when life feels like a bumpy donkey ride through Cactus Town. It’s warm, gentle, squishy… like a heart-blanket knitted out of hope. 🧶💕
“Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself… comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.” —2 Thessalonians 2:16–17
Daddy called it a daily courage boost—like drinking a faith milkshake full of love, strength, and Jesus-y sprinkles. 🍦✝️ He said God’s grace doesn’t just make us feel better—it empowers us to keep going when everything feels tough or sticky. Even on days when your shoes feel weird or your brain says “nope,” God’s love gives you superhero legs and kindness hands.
I once asked Fluffernutter if grace could fit in a backpack. He said, “Nope. It’s too big and fluffy.” So now I imagine it as invisible cotton candy for the soul—sweet, strong, and totally Jesus-powered.
🌈 Grace-Filled Wonder Questions:
What does a “grace boost” look like in your life—maybe helping a friend or forgiving your sister?
Can you think of a time when God’s grace helped you stay brave?
How can you share God’s love with someone who’s having a hard day?

🌟 The Holy Spirit Is Like a Holy GPS… With Pom-Poms!
Yaya told us something SO cool that I almost dropped my coloring pencil: the Holy Spirit isn’t just our helper—it’s like a guide and a cheerleader smooshed into one! 🗺️📣
She said it’s like having God’s wisdom whispering right inside your heart—like a tiny, loving map-voice saying, “Turn left toward kindness… and stop when you reach ‘Doing What’s Right’!” And sometimes, when she didn’t know what to do, she prayed—and boom, the Holy Spirit gently nudged her in the direction of God’s plan.
“It’s like having God’s wisdom right in your heart.” —Yaya (who is very wise and likes peppermint tea)
The Holy Spirit helps us grow stronger in our faith every day. Even when the world feels like a tangled spaghetti noodle of decisions, the Spirit shows us the path that leads to love, truth, and courage. 🍝💡✨
Sometimes we need comfort, like when someone’s mean or our feelings get squished. And other times, we need conviction—that means a little heart-nudge that says, “Hey… maybe let your sister have the last cookie.” (That one’s really hard, but Fluffernutter says grace tastes better than cookies. I’m still testing that theory.) 🍪💞
When we finished Bible time, I bounced up like a jellybean on a trampoline. I was so full of thankful twinkles because I realized something BIG:
We are loved by God.
We are chosen on purpose.
We are guided every step of the way.
And we are never, ever alone.
Standing strong in our faith is not a boring thing. It’s a sparkly, brave, Holy Spirit adventure—one that we all get to take together. And I just know God has some extra-wonderful surprises waiting up ahead… maybe even for you. 🎁✨
💡 Holy Spirit Heart Questions:
How can we be more open to hearing God’s gentle whispers?
Have you ever felt the Holy Spirit help you make a choice?
What do you think it means to follow God’s plan in small, everyday ways?

🛡️ How I (Alice!) Plan to Stand Firm in My Faith (With Help from Prayer, Glitter, and Fluffernutter)
Okay, okay—so after our family Bible time, I made the most brilliant sparkly plan ever to help me stand firm in my faith, even if I’m standing in puddles or on top of a laundry mountain. 🧦✨
💬 Step 1: Talk to God Every Day (Even About Pudding)
I made a deal with Fluffernutter—we would pray every single day, even if we’re super sleepy or wearing socks on our hands. Prayer helps me remember I’m not alone, even when my cereal spills or my heart feels swirly. Talking to God is like hugging heaven with your words. 💬🩷
“Prayer time is like giving your brain a Jesus-snuggle.” —Alice, High Commander of Fluffy Faith
👭 Step 2: Be With People Who Shine Jesus
Yaya said it’s important to spend time with people who also love Jesus—like my church friends and my family. We play, pray, and share our “Oops Moments” and “Yay God!” stories together. Ariel helps me understand big words, and I help her laugh when her face gets all serious. 🐣🌈
“Where two or more are gathered… there’s usually giggles and grace.” —Not in the Bible, but it should be
📚 Step 3: Read the Bible Like It’s a Treasure Map
Every time I open my Bible or storybook devotion, it feels like whoosh—another glittery clue from God! 📖 I try to read a little every day (even if I get distracted by snack thoughts), because God’s Word fills up my heart-pockets with bravery and truth.
🎁 Step 4: Help Others (Even If It’s Just Sharing Stickers)
When I help someone—like giving Ariel the last strawberry or sharing my bunny stickers with Bash—I feel this warm whoosh in my chest. That’s the Holy Spirit throwing a kindness party! Acts of service are like invisible high-fives from Jesus. ✋💖
✍️ Step 5: Scribble Everything in My Faith Journal
Sometimes my thoughts bounce around like frogs on a trampoline, so I write them down. My journal is full of prayers, crayon doodles, sticker verses, and plans to tell people about Jesus while wearing a pirate hat. 🏴☠️✝️

🌟 Three Big Promises I’m Making With Jesus:
🧠 Remember the Truth
I’ll remind myself every day that God chose me and loves me just as I am—even with jelly on my shirt. He’s guiding me through every challenge, big or teeny, and His plan is always full of peace, strength, and glittery grace.
📣 Share the Gospel
I’ll tell my friends about Jesus—maybe even with a treasure map or a bunny comic—because they’re chosen too! God’s love is SO big that we can’t keep it quiet. It’s like having the best snack and shouting, “EVERYONE GETS A BITE!”
🙏 Pray for Strength
Even when I feel tiny, I’ll ask God to make my faith-feet steady and strong. When life feels like a tilt-a-whirl, He helps me stand firm, like a flamingo with a Bible.
💭 Faith Adventure Questions:

🎨 Craft Time with Alice: Make Your Very Own Gospel Anchor Art!
Okay, fellow crafters of courage—it’s time to grab your paintbrushes, glitter glue, and bunny-approved creativity because we’re making something amazing! 🐇🖌️
Today’s mission: Create your very own Gospel Anchor Art to remind your heart (and your walls) to stand firm in God’s truth! 🛡️⚓
Yaya says when we make something with our hands and our hearts, it becomes a praise party in paint! So while you’re doodling and designing, think about all the blessings and promises God has wrapped around your life like a warm tortilla of love. 🌯💖
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure…” —Hebrews 6:19
✍️ Add Your Faith Sparkle!
Pick a Bible verse that makes your heart feel cozy or brave—maybe one you heard during a hard week, or one that made you smile so big your cheeks got tired. Write it on your anchor art like a secret superhero password from heaven.
You can even add a message to future you, like “God’s got this!” or “Don’t give up, jellybean!”

🧰 What You’ll Need for Your Gospel Anchor Craft
- ✨ A canvas, watercolor paper, or even cardboard from the recycling bin (eco-friendly and super cool)
- 🎨 Paints—acrylic, watercolor, or whatever sparkles you can find
- 🖌️ Brushes (big ones for blobs, tiny ones for details)
- 🖊️ Markers or pens to write your verse or message
- 🌊 Stickers, sequins, or bunny stamps for flair
- 📷 A reference image of an anchor (or draw your own squiggly one—it’s your masterpiece!)
- 💦 A cup of water + paper towels for splish-splash cleanup
Set up your space, play some soft worship music or Fluffernutter’s “Faith Tunes for Brave Hearts,” and let the creativity flow like grace on a rainbow slide.

- Draw or paint an anchor in the middle of your canvas. Around it, write the words “Stand Firm in the Gospel” in bold, happy letters!
- Add fun faithy stuff like ocean waves (for life’s ups and downs), little hearts (for God’s love), stars, rainbows, or even Fluffernutter with a knight helmet.
- Include your favorite Bible verse or encouragement message to make it personal and powerful.
- Decorate like it’s Heaven’s birthday party—add glitter, puffy stickers, or anything that makes you giggle and remember God’s truth.
- Display your art proudly! Hang it on your wall, tape it to your closet door, or give it to someone who needs a faith boost!

🙏 A Prayer for Strength, Sparkles, and Superhero Faith
Last night, me and Mr. Fluffernutter had super serious bedtime prayers (but we still wore our bunny jammies and had pudding breath). We snuggled close and said this together:
“Dear Jesus, thank You for choosing us to be part of Your amazing, loving family. In a world full of big noises and twisty choices, help us to stand firm in Your truth like faith-filled giraffes in tall grass. Let us live with courage, kindness, and joy, so others see Your light sparkling from our hearts. Thank You for the Holy Spirit, who helps guide our choices and remind us that Your grace is bigger than our worries. Help us notice all the blessings You give and share Your love like confetti. Amen.”
Mr. Fluffernutter added, “Also please help us remember not to eat cookies off the floor.” 🐇🍪 (He’s very wise.)

💭 Your Turn, Brave Believer!
How will you stand firm in your faith this week? 💡✨
- Will you pray for courage before a test or when your tummy feels swirly?
- Could you share a Bible verse with a friend who needs a little hope boost?
- Maybe you’ll draw a faith picture or write a letter to someone who needs cheering up!
Even tiny faith steps can make BIG holy ripples. And you never know who’s watching your brave little heart and thinking, “Wow… I want to love like that too.”
“Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” —Ephesians 6:10
Until our next adventure full of prayers, paint, and pudding crumbs…
Stand strong, sparkle brighter, and never forget—your faith is braver than any fear.
