By Alice
🌼🐰✨ Hi! It’s Alice again—General Gigglepants of the Bunny Brigade!
So… this morning started like any other ordinary morning…
Except I was wearing a crown made of waffle crumbs.
And Mr. Fluffernutter was guarding my royal toothbrush with a spoon.
Because OBVIOUSLY, we were in the middle of a top-secret Grace Mission. 🛡️✨
“Captain Alice,” Fluffernutter whispered (in his serious but squeaky voice),
“the Kingdom of Growington is under serious snuggle-threat! Their Grace Flowers are drooping, and their Knowledge Berries won’t ripen unless we fix the truth compass and rescue the lost scroll of Second Peter.”
Well, I grabbed my sparkly notebook, my Bible flashlight, and one squishy banana for courage. I shouted, “TO THE LIVING ROOM OF DESTINY!” and off we zoomed—well, tiptoed—past Daddy’s sleepy socks and over the couch lava.
And that’s when Yaya (who totally knows everything about scrolls and snacks) read this part of the Bible to us:
“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” —2 Peter 3:18
Whoa. GROW? Like a jellybean tree??
In GRACE and KNOWLEDGE??
That sounded like the kind of magic Fluffernutter and I could absolutely get behind.
But wait—did Peter mean I had to be serious and diligent about it?
Fluffernutter gasped. “Diligent sounds like a dinosaur in a tie!”
So now we’re on a Bible-grown adventure to figure out what Peter really meant.
What is grace, and how do you grow it?
Do we water it with kindness? Or sing to it like a lullaby?
Come with us—into the forests of Forgotten Scriptures and the caverns of Sneaky Lies—where we’ll wear hope helmets, carry truth maps, and learn how to live God’s way, even when the world gets all scrambled like spaghetti.
Ready?
Let’s grow our grace gardens together. 🌱🐇💖

🧼💡 What Does It Mean to Live Diligently?
Okay, so here’s what happened:
Mr. Fluffernutter and I were building a Peanut Butter Castle of Peacefulness (patent pending), when Yaya read us something very serious and squiggly from the Bible:
“So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him.” —2 Peter 3:14
I blinked. Fluffernutter blinked. Even our jellybeans blinked.
“Wait,” I said. “Do we need sparkly soap to be spotless? And what’s blameless—is that like when I say ‘oops’ but no one gets mad?”
Yaya laughed and said, “Living diligently means living with purpose—making faith-filled choices that shine God’s love into the world. It’s not about scrubbing harder—it’s about walking wisely, kindly, and bravely, even when the path is puddly.”
Daddy added, “It doesn’t mean being perfect, either. God’s not asking for superhero capes. He’s asking for hearts that try. When we make mistakes (and we will), we ask for forgiveness, learn, and keep stepping forward.”
Fluffernutter whispered, “So it’s like falling into a hole but finding grace down there with a trampoline!”
Ariel nodded very grown-up-ishly and said, “It’s kind of like holding a flashlight steady. Even if your hand wobbles, the light still shines.”
🌟 So here’s what I think:
Living diligently is about trying our best to live like Jesus—even if our shoes are squeaky and our plans get crumpled. It means choosing kindness over crankiness, truth over fibs, and love over laziness. It means growing in grace, even if we’re still learning how to tie our faith shoes.
💬 Let’s Wonder Together:
- Can you think of a time when you tried to do the right thing—even when it was hard?
- What’s one tiny way you can show God’s love this week?
- Have you ever felt like you messed up, but God still loved you and helped you grow?
🌈✨Fluffernutter says: “God’s grace is like a never-ending bubble bath for your heart—you never run out of soap, and there’s always room for one more rubber ducky of wisdom.”

🕊️🌸 Living Blamelessly (Even If Your Shoes Are Silly)
Mr. Fluffernutter and I were polishing our “Courage Crowns” with glitter glue when Daddy read something very grown-up and glowy from 2 Peter again:
“Make every effort to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with Him.” —2 Peter 3:14
Spotless? Blameless? Peaceful??
I checked behind my ears (not spotless).
Fluffernutter tried to scrub his tail with a marshmallow (not blameless).
So we asked for backup.
Daddy said, “Living blamelessly doesn’t mean being perfect. It means living on purpose—making choices that reflect Christ’s holiness. It means letting God shape your heart with His love.”
“Ohhh,” I said. “So it’s like if your heart is a squishy pancake, and God flips it gently until it’s golden on both sides?”
Yaya giggled. “Exactly! When we mess up, we don’t stay stuck. We seek forgiveness and keep walking in God’s truth. Living blamelessly is about your heart staying close to His—even when you trip.”
Then Ariel asked (very serious and squinty), “So how do we actually do that?”
Yaya gave her the Grandmother Eyebrow Raise of Wisdom™ and said,
“We live blamelessly by choosing love, honesty, and forgiveness every day. When we forgive quickly, speak kindly, and do what’s right even when it’s hard, we reflect Jesus.”
💗 So I scribbled it in my notebook like this:
Being blameless is not about spotless socks—it’s about shiny hearts that follow Jesus.
And Fluffernutter said he wants to open a “Forgiveness Fort” in our living room with soft pillows and grace coupons.
🌱 Questions for Your Heart Garden:
- What does it mean to you to live in peace with God?
- Is there someone you can forgive this week to help your heart shine?
- Can you think of a moment when someone showed you grace—and it helped you grow?
📯 Fluffernutter’s Gentle Reminder:
“Even when your days are wobbly and your jellybeans fall out of your pocket—God still sees you as wonderfully loved and worthy of peace.”

🌿📚 Growin’ in Grace (and Maybe Gummy Worms Too)
Mr. Fluffernutter and I were having a very important discussion under the kitchen table.
“Do grace flowers bloom faster if you sing to them with a kazoo?” I asked.
He nodded solemnly. “Only if you water them with giggles and read Bible stories to their roots.”
Which, honestly, made total sense—especially after Yaya read this verse out loud during snack time:
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” —2 Peter 3:18
🌱 That verse made me sit up straight.
Not because I had cookie crumbs in my lap (okay maybe also that),
but because—WHOA—we’re supposed to GROW? Like plants? In GRACE? And also KNOWLEDGE?
So I asked: “Does that mean I have to get taller AND holier?”
Yaya said, “Growing in grace means letting God’s love and forgiveness change our hearts. When we understand how much He loves us, we begin to love others more gently, more kindly.”
Then Daddy added, “It’s like watering a soul-plant. Every time we pray, read God’s Word, or forgive someone—even if they stole your last cheese puff—we’re growing a little more in Jesus.”
🌻 Ariel said, “So it’s okay if we’re still learning?”
And Daddy nodded. “Exactly. Spiritual growth is a daily journey. Some days you bloom, some days you wilt, but God is always faithful. Even struggles help our faith grow stronger.”
That made Fluffernutter scribble this in our Grace Garden Field Guide:
“Real growth is messy and marvelous. Even banana peels become fertilizer.”
🌤️ So now, we water our hearts with prayer, sprinkle kindness like glitter, and check for new sprouts of joy and gentleness every morning. Because grace isn’t something we finish—it’s something we live in. Like sunshine for our souls.
🌼 Wonder-Time for Little Grace-Growers:
- What helps your heart grow closer to God—prayer, singing, reading the Bible?
- Can you think of a time when you forgave someone, even if it was hard?
- What’s one way you can grow in grace this week, even if your day feels droopy?
📖 Fluffernutter’s Final Thought:
“Even when you don’t feel like you’re growing—God is! He’s the best Gardener ever, and He never forgets to water your heart with hope.”

🕯️🌲 Guarding Truth in the Forest of Muddled Messages
“Mr. Fluffernutter,” I whispered, clutching my Truth Shield made from cardboard and glitter glue, “do you see that?”
He nodded. “It’s the Forest of Muddled Messages, Commander Alice. We must tread carefully. Lies lurk behind every squiggly tree root.”
Daddy had just read us this part of 2 Peter where Peter goes full warning-mode:
“Be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.” —2 Peter 3:17
Yikes. That sounded serious.
I imagined a sneaky vine trying to wrap around my ankle with whispery lies like, “God won’t really mind if you skip kindness today,” or “Forgiveness is optional on Tuesdays.”
But Daddy explained: “There are a lot of ideas in the world that seem nice but don’t match God’s truth. That’s why we stay grounded in Scripture. The Bible helps us spot what’s real.”
Yaya added (with her flashlight held extra dramatically), “When you know God’s Word, it shines like a light in confusing places. You can see through tricky shadows.”
So Fluffernutter and I tested it. We took my Bible-shaped flashlight (made from an empty granola bar box) and aimed it into the darkest part of the imaginary woods.
Guess what? Boom. Instant clarity. 🕯️✨
🧠 The more we learn Scripture and live it—like being kind when it’s hard or standing up for truth even if it’s unpopular—the more our spiritual flashlight gets brighter. And then? No shadowy fib-monster or false idea can trick us.
🦺💬 Questions to Keep Your Truth Armor Shiny:
- Have you ever heard something that sounded right, but didn’t match what the Bible says?
- What Bible verse helps you feel brave when you’re unsure what to believe?
- How can you practice using your “truth flashlight” this week?
🧭 Mr. Fluffernutter’s Wisdom Nugget of the Day:
“Not everything sparkly is truth. Some of it is just glittery gum wrappers. Always check the map (aka the Bible) before you follow the trail!”

🎀🌈 My Bunny-Brave Plan for Living Diligently
So here’s the thing: after our family Bible time and Mr. Fluffernutter’s very dramatic performance of “Peter and the Peekaboo Prophets,” I decided I needed a real-deal, sparkle-powered action plan to help me live diligently every day.
I even wrote it on my “Faith & Fuzz” notepad and taped it to the fridge between Ariel’s science chart and the emergency popsicle stash. 🍦📝
🌸 Step One: Grow in Grace
🧼🧁 “Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” —2 Peter 3:18
I’m gonna pray every single day. Maybe even twice. Or ten times.
I’ll thank God for His huge, never-wrinkly love.
And I’ll ask Him to help my heart be soft and strong—like a cookie that’s warm in the middle.
When I see someone feeling wobbly or sad, I’ll be extra gentle and kind. Maybe I’ll write a note that says, “You’re loved by God and also very good at not stepping on cracks.” Or I’ll help clean up a friend’s crayon spill without asking for a sticker in return.
💖 Grace isn’t just a church word. It’s how we hug with our actions.
📚 Step Two: Learn God’s Word
I’m gonna read my Bible a lot. Even the squiggly parts.
And when I get confused (which happens often because some of the people in the Bible have names like sneeze-sounds), I’ll ask Yaya or Daddy.
I’ll start with 2 Peter 3:18 and whisper it to Fluffernutter until we both memorize it. We’ll imagine it as a golden password that opens a magical door inside my heart—where all the good things God teaches can grow, bloom, and maybe even sparkle.
🌟 Reading God’s Word is like planting jellybeans that grow into truth trees.
💌 Step Three: Encourage Others
I want my friends to grow their faith gardens too! So I’m going to share my favorite verses (and maybe some grape-flavored stickers) and tell them how Jesus helps me feel brave even when my toothpaste falls in the sink.
I’ll remind them: “God’s Word is true, and you are never, ever alone.”
Sometimes I’ll just sit with someone who feels left out and let them know, “You matter, and Jesus loves you.” Because when we encourage each other, God’s light gets brighter.
🌈 Every tiny kindness is like tossing a sparkle into someone else’s storm cloud.
🧠🌻 What About You?
- What would be on your “Live Diligently” plan?
- Can you think of a moment when someone helped you grow in grace?
- Who could you encourage this week with a prayer, a note, or a kind word?
🫧 Mr. Fluffernutter’s Bunny-Blessing of the Day:
“Even a tiny hop in the right direction is still a hop of holy wonder. Keep bouncing toward Jesus!”

🎨✨ Craft Time: The Grace & Knowledge Climb!
Okay, okay, okay—ready for a super important mission from the Bunny Brigade Headquarters?
We’re building a Grace and Knowledge Ladder 🪜💖
Not for climbing trees (although that would be fun too)…
This one helps us remember how to keep growing closer to God—one faithful step at a time!
Fluffernutter says it’s “like building a staircase that leads straight to God’s heart, with glitter on every step.” 🐰🌟
🧰 What You’ll Need:

🌈 “Each step brings me closer to God’s heart!” —Commander Alice of the Glittering Grace Guild™
💬 Let’s Reflect & Imagine:
- Which step is the hardest for you? Which is your favorite?
- How can you help a friend take one step up their grace ladder?
- Can you make a new step this week—maybe “Be Grateful” or “Say Sorry Fast”?
📜 Mr. Fluffernutter’s Crafty Tip of the Day:
“If your glue gets goopy or your ladder falls over, don’t worry—God’s love always holds better than tape!”

🙏🌻 A Prayer for Growing in Grace (With Fluffy Ears Bowed)
Last night, right before bed (while Fluffernutter was brushing his imaginary teeth and I was stacking my stuffed animals like holy bodyguards), we prayed this together:
“Dear Jesus, thank You for calling us to grow in grace and knowledge of You…”
I paused mid-snuggle and whispered the rest from under my blanket fort.
🐰✨ My Bunny-Brave Bedtime Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for this adventure of faith—where grace grows like daisies and knowledge twinkles like fireflies.
Help me live diligently every day, even if I spill my cereal or forget where I put my socks.
Show me how to reflect Your love in my actions—like hugging with kindness and sharing my last cookie without being dramatic.
Keep my feet steady on Your truth path, even when the world feels wobbly.
Fill my heart with Your wisdom, and my brain with Your light (and maybe jellybeans too).
Let my life be like a sparkly flashlight in the dark—showing people how wonderful You are.
Amen. 🌼

💡💬 Your Turn: Be a Bunny-Brave Truth Guarder!
How will you stay rooted in God’s Word this week?
Will you…
🧭 Make your own Truth Compass and spin it every time you need guidance?
📖 Memorize a Bible verse about truth and faith, like John 8:32:
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
👯 Help a friend understand what the Bible really says—like a faith adventure partner?
Remember: guarding against false teachers isn’t about being scared—it’s about being ready.
Like knights in sparkly armor who carry verses instead of swords. ⚔️📜
Let’s help each other grow strong, love big, and walk in God’s light—even when the world gets shadowy and strange. 🌟
📔✨ Let’s Reflect Together:
- What prayer would you write to ask Jesus for help in growing spiritually?
- Have you ever shared something about God with a friend? How did it go?
- What reminds you to stay grounded in truth and grace?

🐇 Mr. Fluffernutter’s Final Fluffy Report:
“Commander Alice has officially completed her Grace & Knowledge Climb!
She prayed with courage, guarded against fibby teachings, and even shared her cookies.
Mission Status: Diligent & Delightful.
Next Objective: Build a Bible-powered rocket ship fueled by hugs and memory verses. 🚀📖💕”
Until next time,
Keep praying, keep growing, and keep spinning your compass toward Jesus!
With bunny-sized joy,
Alice 🐰🌼💌
