By Alice
This morning, Mr. Fluffernutter climbed onto the armrest of the couch wearing a tissue cape and a button taped to his forehead. He looked very official.
“Alice,” he whispered in his serious voice, “the Grumpies are spreading across the kingdom. Only a prayer-powered love explosion can stop them!”
“Do you mean… like a hug grenade?” I asked.
He nodded. “Exactly.”
So we launched Operation Prayersnuggle.
First step? Pray for strength—not superhero punchy strength—but the kind that helps you share the last cookie, say kind words when you’re grumpy, and forgive even when your sister sits on your coloring page (on accident… probably).
While Fluffernutter packed stickers and a tiny Bible in my backpack, I started thinking: What does it really mean to be strong in God’s way? Is it about lifting heavy stuff—or about lifting others up with love?
That’s when I remembered something Yaya said during Bible time: “Real strength comes when we pray, and real love grows when we share it.”
So today’s adventure isn’t just about fluffy bunny missions or defeating invisible grumpies. It’s about learning how to pray like warriors with squishy hearts—and finding out how spreading God’s love makes everybody stronger.
✨Ready to explore the power of prayer and the strength God gives us when we share His love? Let’s hop into the next part together…

✨ Step 1: Praying for the Gospel to Zoom Like Lightning!
When Fluffernutter and I reached Mission Step One of our Operation Prayersnuggle checklist, he unrolled a tiny scroll made from tissue paper and whispered,
“First, we pray for the Gospel to zoom across the world like lightning on a trampoline!”
That’s when Daddy read this verse to us from the Bible:
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:1)
Ariel squinted at the verse, chewing her pencil. “Wait… does this mean when we pray, we’re helping people hear about Jesus?”
Daddy smiled and nodded. “Exactly. When we pray for the Gospel to spread, we’re asking God to help clear the path—so His message of love can reach hearts without anything getting in the way.”
Yaya sipped her tea (with honey and two tiny lemon slices) and added,
“Paul also asked for courage—because sharing God’s love isn’t always easy. Sometimes people don’t want to listen, and sometimes we feel a little scared. That’s why prayer gives us spiritual bravery.”
I imagined prayer like planting heart-shaped seeds all over the world. Some land in gardens. Some land on sidewalks. But when we water them with faith and big love, God makes them grow in surprising places!
Now, I pray for more than just my family. I pray for neighbors, mail carriers, kids at the park, and even the grumpy guy at the grocery store who never says hi. Because you never know who might need a little bit of Jesus today.
Each prayer is like opening a window for God’s light to shine in—even when someone doesn’t know it’s cloudy in their soul.
💬 Let’s Imagine Together!
Who is someone outside your family you could pray for this week?
What would it look like if God used your prayers to help someone learn about His love?

🛡️ Step 2: Praying for Protection and Brave Bunny Hearts
When Mr. Fluffernutter heard that people used to be mean to Paul for talking about Jesus, he gasped and dropped his carrot sword.
“But… but Paul was a good guy!” he squeaked, hiding behind a pillow.
Daddy opened the Bible and read us this verse:
“And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:2)
He explained that Paul faced real danger—just because he shared the Gospel. “That’s why he asked others to pray for his protection and for courage,” Daddy said. “It wasn’t easy, but Paul trusted God to keep him safe.”
Ariel blinked. “So some people didn’t like what Paul was saying?”
Yaya nodded. “Yes, sweetie. Not everyone wants to hear about God’s truth. But we can still pray for them—that their hearts would soften. Sometimes the loudest opposers are the ones who need God’s love the most.”
That made my heart bounce like a jellybean. I imagined prayer as a sparkly shield, one we hold up for people bravely telling others about Jesus—especially in hard or scary places. When we pray for protection and boldness, we’re like secret helpers in God’s rescue team!
Fluffernutter saluted and whispered, “I shall guard the missionaries with every floppy ear I’ve got!”
💡 Faith Fact!
Did you know there are still places today where sharing the Gospel is really dangerous? Missionaries and believers all over the world need our prayers to feel safe and strong.
Sometimes, I feel nervous even telling a friend that I love Jesus. But when I think about Paul and those brave people sharing God’s love in tricky spots, I remember: God gives us boldness when we ask Him. Even tiny people (like me!) can do mighty things with big faith.

💖 Step 3: Staying Glued to God’s Love (Even While We Wait)
This part of our mission made Fluffernutter stop and squint at the sky (okay, at the ceiling fan) like he was looking for a Jesus-shaped cloud.
“Waiting is hard,” he mumbled. “Especially when you’re hoping for something really big—like Jesus coming back or the cookies being ready.”
Daddy smiled and read us this verse from 2 Thessalonians:
“The Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:5)
Then he said, “Paul was praying for his friends to stay grounded in God’s love and to be patient while waiting for Jesus.”
Ariel tilted her head. “What does it mean to have our hearts directed into God’s love?”
Daddy answered, “It means letting God’s love guide everything—how we think, how we speak, and how we treat others. His love becomes the compass that points our hearts the right way.”
Yaya added, “Waiting isn’t just sitting still. It’s growing while you wait. It’s trusting God’s timing, even when you don’t understand it yet.”
💡 Hope Thought!
Waiting in faith means trusting that God is working, even when we don’t see it yet. His love gives us strength to keep hoping, even on slow or stormy days.
I imagined walking on a path made of glowing jellybeans (obviously). Every step lit up when I remembered something good God had done—like healing Bash’s paw or helping Ariel find her missing journal.
That’s what it feels like when our hearts stay close to God’s love. Even if we’re waiting for something important—like an answer, a miracle, or Jesus Himself—we’re not just sitting still. We’re learning, growing, and glowing with faith!
Fluffernutter says staying glued to God’s love is like hugging Him with your heart every single day—even while you wait for cookies. Or promises. Or heaven.
💬 Let’s Wonder While We Wait!
Have you ever had to wait for something really special?
How can you let God’s love guide your heart while you wait?

🌟 Alice’s Faith Challenge! (With Fluffernutter’s Official Approval)
Ready to pray with purpose and be brave in your faith this week? Mr. Fluffernutter and I made a sparkle-scribbled checklist to help us grow strong in God’s love (and maybe earn a few invisible faith badges too).
🗺️ Pray for the Gospel to Spread
Fluffernutter says prayers are like God-mail—you don’t need a stamp, but they still travel far and fast!
This week, let’s pray for missionaries, pastors, teachers, and even kids who are telling others about Jesus. Ask God to open ears and hearts and make sure nothing blocks His message. Picture your prayers as clearing a big, twisty jungle trail so God’s love can zoom right into someone’s heart.
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course…”
(2 Thessalonians 3:1)
🛡️ Pray for Protection and Courage
Some people are super brave sharing the Gospel in places where it’s really hard. Let’s be their invisible helpers by praying for boldness, strength, and protection.
Your prayer might feel small—but to someone out there, it’s like a warm shield made of faith and hope.
“And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:2)
💖 Focus on God’s Love and Patience
Here’s a sweet idea: write down one way God showed you love this week! Maybe He sent you a friend’s hug, a good dream, or even helped you feel calm during math homework (Fluffernutter says that one counts double).
That list will remind you to trust His timing and be patient—even if cookies, answers, or miracles take longer than expected.
“The Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:5)
✏️ My Prayer Plan
I’m writing a “Pray for My Friends” list this week. I want God to help them feel His love like a snuggly blanket on a rainy day. Wanna join me?
Your prayers can lift people up, even if you don’t see it right away. We’re like little prayer lanterns, lighting the way for others who feel lost or unsure.

Is there something you’ve been waiting for that you could trust God with?
Who do you want to pray for this week?
Can you think of one way God showed you love today?

🧵 The Best Reminder: Prayer Is Like a Blanket Made of Hope
Before we finished Bible time, Yaya tucked her tea mug close and told us something super special—like one of those sparkly heart-stories that stays with you forever.
She said, “Even though it was hard to wait, I found peace in trusting that God’s timing is perfect.”
She shared about a time when she prayed and prayed, but didn’t get an answer right away. While she waited, she kept believing, even when her heart felt all fluttery with worry. That’s when she discovered something beautiful: prayer isn’t just asking for stuff—it’s about getting closer to God while we wait.
“The Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:5)
I imagined each prayer like a piece of rainbow thread, weaving through the sky. When we pray, we’re making a faith quilt—one stitch at a time. Every prayer connects us to God’s giant, wonderful plan. Even if the answers are slow, the hugs from God come fast.
And guess what? When we pray together—as a family, as friends, as fluffy bunny companions—it’s like stitching our hearts into one big warm blanket of love and courage. Mr. Fluffernutter says that’s how prayer turns us into a super-snuggly team.
Sometimes we pray for big things, like healing or world peace. Sometimes it’s small, like help finding your favorite marker cap. But every single prayer matters. Every one helps us grow a little stronger, a little braver, and a lot closer to God.

🌈 Let’s Be Brave, Pray Big, and Shine Bright!
So friends—ready for our final mission? Let’s pray for strength, for boldness in our faith, and for God’s love to zoom across the world like glitter confetti!
Let’s stay glued to His love, even when the path feels twisty or slow. Because when we pray together—even if we’re in different houses or wearing mismatched socks—we become a super-powered prayer team, glowing with God’s light!
“When we trust God to guide our steps, even the wobbly ones become part of His perfect dance.” —Yaya 🌟
When we unite in prayer, we lift our hearts AND the hearts of others. Every whisper to God is a bright sparkle of hope, turning hard days into faith stories that help others feel less alone.
So this week, let’s:
- Be bold like Paul.
- Pray like warriors in pajamas.
