Your learner information stays in this browser.
Print & Play
Pick the paper size and look. These PDFs contain no learner information.
Victory Certificates
Certificates unlock from progress saved in this browser. Printing does not upload a name.
Grown-Up Pocket
Private reports and family controls live here so the child adventure stays uncluttered.
Change My World
Choose what feels best. Your learning rules and progress do not change.
Grown-Up Setup & Family Tools
Create or switch learner cards, choose a learning path, make backups, check storage, and review detailed evidence here. These controls stay out of the child’s main adventure.
1
Learner profiles
Profiles are local records, not accounts. Learning evidence, rewards, reports, and preferences stay in this browser.
Active learner: None
Local recycle bin
Recycled profiles remain locally recoverable. The suggested window is 14 days; no profile is silently purged.
2
Learning path
Choose a stable path for the active learner. The first registered recommendation is available before evidence; after completed sessions, the adaptive engine can recommend a repeat, next curriculum unit, targeted review, or retention visit without inferring age or diagnosis.
3
Curriculum explorer
Browse stable curriculum records and load a safe text fixture into the isolated final-release session laboratory. This explorer includes the frozen Alice and Ariel lesson IDs, reviews, retention checks, remediation templates, modes, practical tasks, assessments, and Lantern Atlas steps.

No scored practice result yet.
Only eligible metrics are reported. Short or interrupted samples remain explicitly ineligible, while useful practice can still guide the next recommendation.
5
Progress and next practice
This panel summarizes only locally committed evidence. Accuracy, WPM, rhythm, personal-best, Ghost, mastery, and retention each use separate eligibility rules. A short sample may be useful practice while remaining ineligible for one or more metrics.
Complete a valid session to create an adaptive recommendation.

Key patterns with sufficient evidence
The browser can evaluate received key events, but it cannot reliably verify actual finger use, posture, motivation, or disability. Adaptive suggestions are practice recommendations, not diagnoses.
6
Content integrity
Every required package is loaded as local static JSON and checked against its SHA-256 manifest value before the browser catalog is accepted.
7
Backup and restore
Backups are plain UTF-8 JSON and may include scored session summaries, unit and phase evidence, key and transition trends, retention schedules, eligible personal-best records, and adaptive recommendations. Complete raw keystroke traces, Custom Copywork, and drafts remain excluded.
8
Legacy trainer history
The old browser key is inspected without being changed. Personal bests become historical notes; per-key records become placement hints only; badges, coins, and streaks do not become current rewards.

9
Storage health
The check performs a tiny write-read-delete probe and requests an approximate browser storage estimate.
No health check has run yet.
Physical-keyboard connection check
Touch typing is learned on a physical keyboard. The browser cannot reliably verify which finger pressed a key or whether posture was correct.
10
Bounded local receipts
Receipts document local profile, path, scored-session, reward, optional-story, migration, backup, import, and legacy operations. They do not leave the browser.
Reset browser-local learner repository
This permanently deletes Keyboard Quest profiles and progress stored by this browser. Export a verified family backup first. WordPress and downloaded backup files are not deleted.

Keyboard Quest Questions
Is Fantasticamos Keyboard Quest free?
Yes. Keyboard Quest is a free browser-based typing adventure for children and homeschool families.
What ages is Keyboard Quest designed for?
The academy includes simpler discovery activities for younger learners and progressively more structured physical-keyboard practice for elementary-age children and developing typists.
Do children need a physical keyboard?
A physical keyboard is strongly recommended. Touch typing depends on learning the location and feel of real keys, while touchscreen exploration is treated separately.
Does Keyboard Quest save progress?
Yes. Learner progress can be stored locally in the browser. Families should occasionally export a backup because clearing browser site data can remove locally stored information.
Does Keyboard Quest rank children against one another?
No. Keyboard Quest focuses on private progress, careful technique, accuracy, mastery, and positive encouragement rather than public leaderboards or sibling rankings.
